Up on the many terraces of the Hyakudan-en, or the hundred-step Garden, a hundred flower beds feast on the strong sun that only an unhindered island coast-line can provide. This choir of nature sings out to the light, their silent yet jubilant chorus joining the many in an ode to summer.
